Less time. Less tools. Less paint. More freedom.
Join me for a day of colour, movement and expressive mark-making through loose, semi-abstract floral painting. A little space to experiment, trust your instincts and enjoy making something of your own.
With almost 20 years as a professional artist, I love helping people loosen up and find their own way of painting. Through guided demonstrations, playful exercises and plenty of time at your canvas, we’ll explore colour mixing, composition and confident brushwork.
Flowers will be our starting point as we move away from painting every perfect petal and towards responding to colour, shape, movement and feeling. There’s room to make a little mess, try something new and develop your own visual language.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced painter looking for a refresher, you’re welcome here. Come with curiosity and an open mind.
Your day includes
Live demonstrations and guided painting exercises with Aly
Colour mixing, composition and expressive mark-making
Plenty of time to develop your own loose floral painting

What to bring
