Bring the colour of a summer evening home.
Fading Roses is a one-of-a-kind original by Belfast artist Aly Harte — painted live during my exhibition at La Bottega, Belfast.
£2,000 — with complimentary UK & Ireland delivery. Floating framing is not included.
Original artwork: acrylic and soft pastel on canvas.
Size: 120 × 91 cm.
One of a kind: this is the original painting, not a print.
The story behind Fading Roses
Golden-hour light, Aperol Spritz, conversation and the gentle rhythm of the city. I painted this work in front of guests and passers-by, capturing the warmth and atmosphere of a summer aperitivo evening.
I began with my signature palette of blue, yellow, black and white, then introduced blush pinks and a luminous veil of soft neon pastel. Expressive marks and soft colour give the painting its contemporary, romantic feel.
At 120 × 91 cm, it’s a substantial piece for a wall you want to make your own — a reminder of those fleeting moments that stay with you long after the evening has passed.
